There were many third party issues such as poor communication from solicitors, covenants, delayed/cancelled exchange dates etc, which made the process drag on much longer than it needed to. I have to give special credit to Meg, who lived the frustration with me whilst chasing all parties on a daily basis and kept me up to date as soon as developments arose. I couldn't have asked for much more and I already miss our daily telephone updates!
