Since 23 November 2015, all Landlords operating in Wales must become registered with Rent Smart Wales. Landlords have a year to comply with this new obligation. This new requirement comes from Part 1 of the Housing (Wales) Act 2014.

If you are, you need a licence and have to either have accredited Rent Smart Wales training or have an accredited agent to be responsible for your rent collection or management.
